Happy Bachelorette!!

Welp, I'm still having issues with the blogger, but I am giving it one more week before I give up and write nasty open-ended letters. But who doesn't need L.A. pics one month late? Right?! Anywhos...this past weekend we went down to Chicago for Patty's bachelorette party...(gift pictured) and it was lots of fun! When is finding a bar in Chicago that belongs in the south NOT fun. We ended the night dancing to Johnny Cash at 4 a.m with a few people in a band that may and or may not have been missing teeth (oh 4 a.m. Chicago bars..) I think that is enough said! Anyways, if anyone has any sort of suggestions as to the letter I can address to blogger or just wants to talk about the general AWESOMENESS of the weather lately..please, go ahead...

It's my birthday and I am angry..

HAPPY BERFDAY!!

Okay, okay, I am alive. I am sorry I have been out of contact with the world, but it's tough when you are hanging out in the warm sun of L.A. I promise there are pictures and more to come on that front (it was pretty awesome...) but in the meantime, give some birthday love to Angie and make fun of ther a little bit..she is becoming a very old woman today. Phew, am I glad I'm only 23...she looks old. We are all off to celebrate, and in preparation, I am collecting her presents of pasta, cheese, country music, and loads and loads of bitter cold weather......I can't imagine she won't love that!

How did she hold on to that burger?! Question of the year....

Just wanted to make sure I congratulated Catie and Jonny on their very exciting news. Catie is pregnant! It's pretty exciting, and I know they are going to be great parents, so now there are more babies on the way! Also, please leave Happy Birthday love for my cousin Bridget, who is turning VERY young today. Very very young. So we had a super bowl party at ali's with way too much food, but luckily the Giants won, so it turned out to be a pretty great day. Besides that it is FREEZING here. And I mean freezing. I mean -5 regular temp, and -40 with wind chill. Seriously, how are people expected to survive in this..thank god L.A. is just around the corner..it can't come soon enough...

Special Request Posting (plus the winter gets a little boring...)

Okay, I wasn't going to post this because I'm a little embarrassed by the whole situation, but someone asked that I do, and it is a pretty funny story, and my hopes are that someone else has done something way more embarrassing? Or maybe of equal embarrassment (please?). So Tom was in town for the weekend, and we decide it will be fun to go to an Admirals game (that's a minor league hockey team). Probably a recipe for disaster from the get go. So we go to the sparsely populated game and we are being good hockey fans (you know, cheering for fights, drinking lots o beer...). So the game is over, and everyone is in good spirits, when we start exiting the stadium and low and behold, who do we see? The Admirals Mascot. Perfect. A photo op at it's best. So we quickly run up to the mascot (drunkenly stumble, your choice) and request a Photo Op with the local mascot. An usher quickly volunteers to take the picture and tells us to line up quickly. We do as asked politely, and at this point, I notice Tom is standing off to the side, just watching, which is a little abnormal but we weren't going to stop the Top Model Photo shoot...So we get our pic (hastily) and run off to continue our night. As we are walking away, Tom says, "Did you guys even notice the 100 little kids that were in line to meet the mascot?" Yeah, that's right, take a closer look at the sign in the background, "Join Roscoe's Crew Kids Club" Yes, we cut off a 100 little children to get OUR pic taken with the mascot..it's not even a good pic! Somehow, no one noticed the children..seriously..we had no idea. And then Megan makes it even creepier by going to the mascot..."Soooo...what's your real name?" At which point we should have been taken out back and banned forever from minor league hockey...Sorry Kids!!!

Preggo My Leggo!!!!

Okay, so this is a little belated, but we just wanted to be sure, but CONGRATULATIONS to my sister and her husband Karl who are Pregnant!! This baby DEFINITELY already has finger nails :-) Everyone say congratulations to them and I get to be an aunty!! How exciting!!
